Gregory Heyworth, (BA, Columbia; BA, MA, Cambridge; Ph.D., Princeton) is Associate Professor of English at the University of Rochester. A specialist in medieval literature and digital humanities, he is the author of several books and textbooks including Desiring Bodies: Ovidian Romance and the Cult of Form, which won an “Outstanding Academic Title” award from Choice magazine in 2010, and more recently Les Eschéz d’Amours: A Critical Edition of the Poem and its Latin Glosses (2013). He is also the founder of the Lazarus Project, a not-for-profit initiative to recover lost and damaged manuscripts using spectral imaging.
